Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Translate a Diff blog to a random language: https://diff.wikimedia.org/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=post&from_post=86559&new_lang=ms&_wpnonce=71da7a921a
- I'm given a blank page, while the documentation said:
Diff will make a copy of the post, will all formatting and metadata, and set the language to the language you picked.
- Also, I can't add any categories. (might be a separate bug?)
What happens?:
So far I've translated two blog post, and ideally, like the document said, I should be given the original text on the text area. Instead I got a blank page. I had to go back and forth to the original post to copy each paragraph. (I could've copied everything, but I wish I don't have to).
Also, I couldn't add any categories on my translation.
Here's one example:
On the top is my translation, notice there's no category, while the original blog, on the bottom, have several categories.
What should have happened instead?:
- The page should load the original content, to ease the translator's task
- Able to add some categories.
