In particular, improve coverage for maybeUpdateImplementationRanking(), including branches that only include a logging statement followed by a return statement. (Coverage recently decreased when the logging statements were added.)

Note: this will likely require some improvements to relevant portions of the structure of ApiPerformTestTest.php
