For wikis with a smaller volume of copyvio reports, it would be helpful to advertise the number of open reports on the wiki so that users don't have to browse to CopyPatrol every day solely to see if there are any new reports. Even for larger wikis like enwiki, any such advertising would help bring more people to CopyPatrol.

The on-wiki allowlists are a subpage of User:EranBot (the bot used may change, see T334265). The count of open reports could be written to a subpage like /Num_reports, and the communities can transclude that wherever they like, such as a centralized dashboard, or a copyright violation noticeboard, etc.

Acceptance criteria

  • Have the bot occasionally (every N hours) write the number of open reports to a standardized subpage of the bot
