Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:

  • Unrendered language strings sometimes appear in the popup. Example: Helmardine ⧼parentheses-start⧽⧼talkpagelinktext⧽ | contribs⧼parentheses-end⧽ added this on 14 April 2023 4:22 AM.

What should have happened instead?:

  • Language strings should be rendered

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):

  • These devtools console errors may also be relevant:

dmaza set the point value for this task to 3.Apr 19 2023, 2:36 PM
dmaza moved this task from Needs Discussion to Up Next (June 3-21) on the Community-Tech board.

Just noting that when this occurs, clicking on another section will open another pop-up with the strings showing as expected (and then reopening the previous pop-up will also load the strings as expected) — something isn't loading on that first pop-up creation

@HMonroy Language strings are now rendered in the who wrote that popup extension. This will be moved to Done. Thanks for all your work!

I'm sure there was a bot which did this... or am I thinking of GitLab..? Thank you for documenting it though!
