Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where): Currently, you get notifications when you reach certain edit count milestones. I was thinking why not do the same for articles. Article creation requires more dedication then edits and it should encourage editors to create more articles.

I like the idea; it also overlaps with the Positive reinforcement project.
I wish we had some data on the impact of the edit milestone notifications, but I suppose just knowing that editors like them is enough justification.
@Badakaji - do you have any thoughts on the ideal frequency of these notifications?
The current edit milestones are powers of ten: 1st, 10th, 100th, 1,000th, 10,000th, 100,000th, 1,000,000th and 10,000,000th edits. (1)
