Rebuild iOS/iPhone app using the PhoneGap shared base
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Current iOS app is a pain to maintain; see about getting the PhoneGap-based one generalized and retool the iOS app on the same base code.

Recommend doing this before investing too much more work on the old iOS codebase.

When we actually try to load articles into the iframe they get loaded in Safari instead; see links on commit messages or the pull request to some mailing list posts & bug reports which seem to indicate this may be a regression in PhoneGap 1.1.0 and/or updating to XCode 4.2.
