We received this feature request through the Android support email:

Hi, please make quick search option to search as soon as the app is opened. (With opening keyboard)
It can be enable or disable in settings. Please make it for people who wants quick searches. Please, thank you

This can be done using our Search widget, which the user can drop on their home screen.
