Patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/puppet/+/361796 has been hot patched in the Beta Cluster in 2017, and routinely rebased ever since.
Six years later, it seems we still don't have a solution for Scap's UID in Beta.
Is the patch still needed?
Is this easier to solve in 2023, in a way that works for both prod and beta alike?
Or could we update the patch to recognise the realm difference and commit it as normal?
