Review various logos that combine tagline and wordmark that might appeared "squashed"
Closed, DeclinedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

The combined height of the tagline and wordmark should never exceed 50px. In the case of wikiversity it might make sense to use a lower threshold or increase the university icon size since the university icon is smaller in height (about 35px).

@Sneha let me know what you think and if any further changes are needed. These might be okay, but might need revisiting.

@Jdlrobson the ko and beta logos were part of a different ticket before so I had provided a resized versions in the folder. See comment here. If you have not tried those can you try and let me know if it fixes the issue. If so, I can use the same sizing on the other two.

Also as a general rule it would be better to left align wordmark and tagline in the new vector design.

@Sneha I deployed those already and it didn't fix the issue. I think the problem is that for most projects the icon is a 50x50 square, and Wikiversity is a 50x50 with transparent top and bottom margins.

Wikiversity-tagline-ko.svg 120x17 (in production: https://ko.wikiversity.org/static/images/mobile/copyright/wikiversity-tagline-ko.svg)
Wikiversity-tagline-beta.svg 50x19 (in production https://ko.wikiversity.org/static/images/mobile/copyright/wikiversity-tagline-beta.svg)

The tagline seems like it is within the range of the guidelines provided. (except 19 is 1 pixel more but it would not make a difference).

It seems like the logo should not have a transparent top and bottom so it can align with the text.

Right that's what I was wondering. Alternatively, we should have different logo guidelines for Wikiversity.

Actually I am just checking the sheet there was no guideline provided for tagline for wikiversity. I used Wiktionary guidelines as that seemed like the smallest.

I just added a wikiversity logo in the folder without any padding. Can you try that and see?

So I also reduced the size of the tagline and replaced the old svg with new one in the same folder above. I hope both of these changes will fix wikiversity ones.

Also lets vertically align wordmark and logo to the left. Center align worked in old vector but does not work in the new vector.

@Jdlrobson Also uploaded the wa and te wikisource tagline with reduce size in this folder. There was no guideline for wikisource tagline too so I tried 14 px height here hope it will work.

I will be out for a bit but will get back to this in September!
