Pattypan is an easy-to-use tool to prepare online and offline photos or videos, add metadata and upload the files in batches to Wikimedia Commons. It's a Java application that makes use of a spreadsheet and allows for a high amount of flexibility when proper, detailed image descriptions are important for the images' reuse on Wikimedia projects, for example when you work at a cultural heritage institution. This is a beginner-level session featuring a step-by-step demonstarion.
