There are a few pieces of information experienced volunteers and moderators at partner wikis will need to evaluate Edit Check and configure to align with project policies and conventions as part of the initial deployment process.
This task involves the work of composing and sending the communications needed to equip volunteers with this information.
Objectives
Experienced volunteers, moderators, and interface admins at partner wikis know:
- How to test Edit Check in the VisualEditor (mobile and desktop) using the ?ecenable=1 URL parameter (T345297)
- Where and how to adjust how Edit Check is configured (T345218)
- Where and how to review edits Edit Check is activated within
- Where and how to report issues/false positives (T343168)
