As a developer using Toolforge, I shouldn't need to understand Kubernetes as a primary topic; this is backend infrastructure that the platform admins manage for me. The existence of this doc just about Kubernetes made sense when the team was migrating from Grid Engine to k8s, but now it is problematic because information about running jobs and web services is sharded between existing docs about those topics, and the k8s doc.
- Move content about running webservices on k8s into Help:Toolforge/Web. This includes the "Kubernetes webservices" section and the "Container images" section, though the latter may need a cross-ref from the jobs doc if it lives primarily in the web services doc (it's unclear to me how much container images matter for jobs, if at all).
- Move content about running jobs on k8s into Help:Toolforge/Jobs_framework.
- Move troubleshooting content into https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Troubleshooting_Toolforge.
- Move information about namespaces into the Toolforge concepts overview, or include it in both the web and jobs framework docs.
- Move information about quota and resources into a new doc: T347887
- Any concepts or info about Kubernetes that is useful for users to know can be added to the k8s section in the Toolforge overview.
- If/when https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Toolforge/Kubernetes is ready to be deprecated due to this content redistribution: there are many links throughout the Toolforge docs that should be updated -- a simple redirect won't be able to cover all the different final destinations of the content. Also, remove the link from https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Toolforge_nav.
