Creating this task to track the migration of RIPE Atlas Anchor atlas-codfw from current uplink to asw-a1-codfw ge-1/0/4 to new top-of-rack switch lsw1-a1-codfw.
This device has an access port in the sandbox1-a-codfw vlan currently.
It needs to remain in a dedicated sandbox vlan after the migration. But as it is the only device on the existing vlan I think the best thing to do is probably keep using sandbox1-a-codfw, and reduce its scope down to a single rack. This would move the gateway for it from the two CRs doing VRRP, on ae1.2201 to irb.2201 on lsw1-a1-codfw. The sandbox ACL filter is not terribly large, so we configure it on the irb unit to keep this device isolated in the same way.
Migrating the gateway can probably be done fairly smoothly, although a short outage probably won't matter
@ayounsi does that sound correct to you, or is there maybe something I'm missing?
