Migrate lvs2013 and lvs2014 codfw row A-B connections to new switches
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The LVS servers in codfw rows C and D have connections to the current virtual-chassis switches in those rows.

To maintain connectivity from these devices to the existing row A-B vlans, plus the new per-rack subnets, we need to move the switch ports these links terminate on to the new Spine switches in racks A1 and A8.

We can move the links as follows, to the 10G ports on the rear of the QFX5120-32C spines. All links are 10GBase-LR so single-mode fibre, we can re-use existing optics but I am unsure if we need new cabling also.

We will need to co-ordinate with the Traffic team on this to de-pool each server before the moves. No changes on the server side will be required. I will open a sub-task to add the new row A/B per-rack subnet interfaces to them but that can be done independently of the move.
