Description

I noticed Prometheus can't scrape the following hosts/ports since ~one month

2023-10-05 09:24:05	search-loader1002:9170	mjolnir	ops	eqiad	0.00

Is this expected/known?

Event Timeline

@fgiunchedi Sorry for the trouble. These hosts are part of a (failed) experiment to update the search-loader application to Bullseye. This project has been deprioritized and at this point it's more likely we migrate this application to Kubernetes (T346189 ).

I will delete the VMs shortly.

Moving back to insetup instead until I hear back from @EBernhardson whether these hosts could be useful even though their native Python is too new for search-loader.

bking claimed this task.
bking moved this task from Ready for Work to Done on the Data-Platform-SRE board.

We've confirmed that these hosts can still be useful (see T346039 ), so I'm closing this one out.
