As a product manager, I want to run a test round of generating a list of invited editors for a test event on a high-impact topic, so that the Campaigns Programs team can provide an analysis and determination of our current invitation criteria and if any changes should be made to it before we build a generalized solution.
Background: We would like to do a test round of generating a list of invited editors. To do this, we will ask someone in the Campaigns Programs team to create a list of articles for either a test event or a real event. The articles should be related to one of the 5 underrepresented geographic regions. Then, the Campaigns product team will generate a list of invited participants based on the criteria we have laid out so far for invites. Once the list has been generated, we will give the list to the Campaigns Programs team so they can analyze the outcome and determine whether the list of invited participants would be a list that they would generally want to invite or if there are certain gaps in the criteria that we should address/change before building a more generalized solution. Overall, this test round will serve two primary purposes. From a product standpoint, it will allow us to to look at what we'll be giving organizers and see how useful it may be to them. From a technical standpoint, we will have the opportunity to create a test list and see what challenges or opportunities we find along the way.
