In a bid to publicize proofreading contests, it is proposed that contests should be displayed on one (or more) calendars if possible.
The possible calendars being considered are:
While creating a new contest on the tool, the user will be given the option of making the contest (and some meta data) visible on a particular calendar, based on which a new entry will be made to the respective calendar.
This increases visibility of the contest amongst the general Wikimedia community as well.
