We are running some browser tests as a daily job (or do we?), e.g. for Advanced-Search. The point is to get notified early when something breaks that's technically unrelated to, but interferes with one of the WMDE-TechWish products. A prime example is the new #desktop_improvements_vector_2022 skin and its iterations that are rolled out as default on more and more wikis. Question is: Are our test suites aware of this new skin?
Motivation: A single daily browser test with the right assertion would have catched T352169 much, much earlier.
To do:
- Make sure the daily Browser-Tests suite for all WMDE-TechWish products runs with both classic Vector and Vector 2022.
- Bonus: Make sure Revision-Slider does have a test that can find the issue described in T352169.
WARNING: There is not really the "one" Vector 2022 skin. It's a sequence of experiments with slight modifications. Currently "Zebra #9" is rolled out to e.g. hewiki, but not enwiki.
