Description

What is the problem?

When using Special:UrlShortener or Special:QrCode (if the URL is long enough), clicking on the alternative shortened URL link takes you to https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/w-beta.wmflabs.org/_mX (on beta). It should take you to https://w-beta.wmflabs.org/_mX.

Steps to reproduce problem

https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:UrlShortener
Enter a valid URL (e.g. https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page)
Click "Shorten"
Click the link next to You can also use this alternative URL:

Expected behaviour: Takes you to https://w-beta.wmflabs.org/_y (which redirects to https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page)
Observed behaviour: Takes you to https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/W-beta.wmflabs.org/_y

Seems like a misconfiguration on beta. I'm not sure how to fix it, but so long as it's not a problem in prod I don't think this is anything urgent.

I can't reproduce this. I would guess that the work in T396012: Beta cluster URL shortener (w-beta.wmflabs.org) broken where things were moved to the wmcloud.org parent domain fixed any config problems.
