Hi, I'm currently representing Bulbapedia (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net), one of the larger and older wikis out there. We had used the MobileView API provided by MobileFrontend to build our own android app, but now that service has been removed. Everything on mediawiki.org points to the Page Content Service being its replacement, but I am repeatedly being told that the PCS is "for WMF wikis only." Why was the MobileView removed without any concern for third party wikis? Is there anyone with whom I can speak regarding getting information on a mobile solution to replace it? Why are there non-public info docs for the PCS? If I have to manually adapt code for the PCS to work, I'm fine with that. However, I need more information than what is available. Please let me know what I can do to proceed.
