  • Implement tools and process.
  • Write clear documentation for the Community and the Foundation

Definition of done:

  • Community members can inform themselves about the subject.

@FRomeo_WMF and @GFontenelle_WMF would either of you be able to drive this work after we incorporate the grooming of the category list?

Just to clarify, you're asking if we can develop a plan and documentation for maintaining the allow-list, based on the GitLab process we discussed:

  • Gitlab provides an interface that will send Data Products a merge request
  • Data Products approves, then it runs on the next pipeline (monthly)
  • Requester receives an email notification that the merge request was accepted

If so, yes, but we will need to a Gitlab runthrough with your team to fully understand and document it.

@FRomeo_WMF yes! This is correct.

Let's set up a training session for your team the week of June 10th. Are you able to set up a scheduled event and include @mforns and I.

This work is complete. Training was conducted with Community Programs, we will meet one more time for the next round of monthly changes in July to ensure knowledge transfer.
