Hi, our community from Malay Wikisource is curious about normally who will be in charge of the configuration for the namespaces, logos and wordmarks? Will the configuration of the namespaces, logos and wordmarks done together with other wikis created this year (and does it mean that we need to wait for all wiki import work to be done), or the configuration could be setup at anytime independent from the creation of other wikis?

Are you saying these unchecked items in the task description have to be requested separately by the wiki community? I thought they were already "in the pipeline" to be done.

My understanding is that if any custom namespaces or different logo oe wordmarks are desired those must be handled with a seperate request.

I'm not sure the people who need to know that, know that.

It looks like these "post-creation" tasks are just languishing indefinitely: 15 such tasks remain open since August 2023. Something needs to change so wikis that need those things done can get them done in a timely manner, and the ones that don't need them done can have the items crossed off or removed from the checklist in a timely manner.

As things stand, I don't know how anyone is supposed to know what actually needs to be done and what doesn't.

I have been ticking off done items from the checklists. The biggest delayer is Countervandalism-Network - nothing has been done there since August 2023, and about half of the post-creation tasks are pending only that. But I have no idea what to do to cause that to be done.

I suspect the workflow would be better if the bot created a "initial configuration" task and tagged it with Wikimedia-Site-requests since that board seems to be monitored properly (this task can't be added there because Wiki-Setup is a subproject of it)

We currently have a two-step process where the second step is taking forever (to be marked as resolved, anyway). It seems to me that the second step here needs to be split into those tasks that always need to be done and are necessary for the wiki to be usable and look "non-broken" to the community, vs. those tasks that may or may not need to be done for a given wiki and/or are "nice to have".

By the looks of CVNBot#Control_commands somebody with ops on the #cvn-* channels needs to run the load wiki command.
