There are multiple pages of documentation that provide conceptual and reference information about the concept of a "session" and how it is handled/measured, both generally and in specific WMF data sources. These documentation pages should be combined or deduplicated, and a single source of truth page should be linked to from the related Glossary entries in DataHub. Currently, https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Analytics/Sessions is linked to from the DataHub glossary entries, but the wiki page hasn't had a meaningful content edit since 2023, and it isn't easily discoverable from related documentation in the Data_Lake/Traffic subpages nor from the related documentation on Meta-Wiki.
