I use your app often to browse the English Wikipedia on my phone. I
would appreciate an option to enable or disable the ability to activate
the flyout through the built-in gesture (swiping from the right to the
left). In its current state, it behaves in an odd manner. Most flyouts
on Android are hamburger menus that allow activation from the edge of
the screen only, while this gesture activates regardless of where you
swipe. That would not be a problem, except for the fact that not only it
conflicts with the back gesture on gesture-based navigation systems, it
conflicts with any side-scrolling media on the article. If I scroll
carelessly to the left on a graph in the article, for example, the
gesture will be activated and the Contents pane will fly out. If not for
the redesigning of that interaction which I would understand
wholeheartedly, I would like to have the option to disable the gesture.
