MinT MVP: Adjust page name and title for consistency
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In the initial implementations of MinT for Wikipedia Readers MVP (T359401), the functionality is provided though a Special:MinT special page, initial steps such as the initial Home step (T359401) display a "Automatic Translation" label but have no page title in the html (resulting in browsers showing no title in their tabs).

This ticket proposes to make the naming and titles more consistent:

  • Page name will be changed to "Special:AutomaticTranslation" ("MinT" can remain as an alias)
  • Page title will be "Automatic translation"

In this way we avoid surfacing codenames such as MinT to users, and the naming aligns well with the related Content Translation product.

[mediawiki/extensions/ContentTranslation@master] MinT MVP: Add page title and adjust special page name

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/1031385

As shown below the browser tab displays "Automatic translation" as the title, the URL ens with "Special:AutomaticTranslation" and the content page no longer has the reserved space of an empty page title.
All as expected for the ticket.
