User story & summary:

As a new editor, I want the Homepage to load quickly, so that I don't have to wait.

Related: T365889: [EPIC] Community updates module: instrumentation & measurement (SDS 2.1.3)

Background:

This task is important because user satisfaction decreases with increased page load times, and bounce rates increase with page load times.

Acceptance Criteria:

Evaluate performance of the Newcomer Homepage with and without the new Community updates module.
Create follow up tasks to improve performance.
