Description

In https://dumps.wikimedia.org/metawiki/latest/ the link to metawiki-latest-sites.sql.gz is broken.

Likewise in /public/dumps on toolforge:

$ ssh login.toolforge.org
$ file /public/dumps/public/metawiki/latest/metawiki-latest-sites.sql.gz
/public/dumps/public/metawiki/latest/metawiki-latest-sites.sql.gz: broken symbolic link to ../20240520/metawiki-20240520-sites.sql.gz

Would it be possible to set up monitoring on this?

Thanks for the report.

This is so because we manually deleted all 20240520 XML Dumps due to T365155.

XML Dumps are currently disabled due to that bug, but once we fix, the 'latest' links will be fixed automatically.
