As an event organizer, I want to know which participants are attending online, in person, or both, so that I can organize proper outreach and support strategies for participants depending on their attendance and I can have a good estimate of those who will need space/accommodations in the in person space.

This feature request was brought up by an organizer who shared that this is important for events like conferences.
