The on-wiki overrides for messages used by the GlobalBlocking extension need to be updated to reflect that you can now globally block accounts.
This has caused confusion (because it mentions blocking an IP address), so updating these messages is more urgent.

Perhaps this isn't actually happening, and the output screen is just wrong. See below for the output screen verbiage after globally blocking an account:
If this is just a bad output screen, feel free to refactor this feature request to a bug, and change the title
If I remember correctly, global autoblock feature does not currently exist and relies on T368151: Add a shared table to CheckUser that records changes to different wikis per IP address of the user.
