| Resolved | None | T16176 Add ability to disable MediaWiki messages |
A wiki can customise the message 'autocomment-prefix' by setting the text in the page MediaWiki:autocomment-prefix to the desired value. The only value that is currently not possible is the empty string, which is because of bug 14176.
Added a dependency to this bug.
Bug 14176 has now been marked resolved/fixed. A blank MediaWiki message no longer reverts to the default text. Consequently, I believe this bug (bug 35151) is fixed.
Also, with I2622b3 merged, the default content of this message is an empty string.
Marking as fixed.
