Apparently making this a parent of the "Create" task might help get this done faster.

I don't think any of this internal organization means anything at all. What someone needs to do is write the patch. It's adding one line of code to one file. Far more time is spent in meta-discussions of this than it would take to do it.

Are you sure about that? The things that have been said about this so far suggest otherwise.

In any case, if there is some way this can get done faster in the future, then it would be nice to know what that is, and try to implement it. That's what I've been trying to do. I've pretty given up at this point, though.
