Doesn't seem to be related to dark mode from a quick look. Can you provide more information?
An example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_F.C.
Seems to appear correctly on desktop, and dark mode doesn't make a difference, so this is /probably/ a PCS or MFE bug.
We're still receiving reports for this issue:
"in anything other that “light” mode the football kits don’t work"

Tested on Pixel 6 on Android 15 and OnePlus 8 on Android 13. Looks better on all the themes. I did notice some odd backgrounds when viewing images in dark and black themes. I have also found some that looks fine
