KStoller-WMF moved this task from Backlog to FY2024-25 Q1 Sprint 4 on the Growth-Team board.

I'm assuming we will have two variants for the experiment: control without the module and community-updates with the module. Do we know the percentages we want to assign to each variant? cc @nettrom_WMF @KStoller-WMF (we can set different percentages for existing accounts and for new accounts but we cannot set a percentage per-platform on the existing accounts).

I had assumed we would do a 50/50 split for both new accounts AND existing accounts as I imagine that will allow us to gather enough data to make a statistically significant conclusion the fastest. But I'm open to whatever @nettrom_WMF thinks is best.

The 50/50 split will get us results as quickly as possible. Please go ahead and use that for both new and existing accounts. I had also assumed we'd do that, so it's useful to confirm it. Thanks for raising the question @Sgs !

I think we can consider this task resolved. Follow up work should fall under this epic: T365890: [EPIC] Community updates module - second iteration improvement ideas
