Add Caution Levels to Automoderator configuration
Closed, ResolvedPublic2 Estimated Story Points

Description

As an admin I should be able to select the appropriate caution level value for Automoderator using on-wiki configuration.

Schema Config:

	public const AutoModeratorCautionLevel = [
		self::TYPE => self::TYPE_STRING,
		self::REQUIRED => false,
		self::DEFAULT => "very-cautious",
		self::ENUM => [ 'very-cautious', 'cautious', 'somewhat-cautious', 'less-cautious' ]
	];

This change will roll out tomorrow and your configuration will need to be updated to

"AutoModeratorCautionLevel" : "very-cautious"

if you want to keep AutoModerator running at the same threshold it currently is.

Let me know if you have any questions. The configuration example can be found here

@Kgraessle Not done, due to the error: The property AutoModeratorCautionLevel is not defined and the definition does not allow additional properties.

@Dogu it looks like in the community configuration form it's set to the correct value.

Can you try again and let me know if you are still getting that error?

This should have rolled out to your wikis today so you can feel free to adjust the threshold to different settings - very-cautious is the threshold you have been using so far. cautious, somewhat-cautious, and less-cautious will increasingly revert more edits, but with lower accuracy. I recommend decreasing one level at a time and observing Automoderator's behaviour for a week or so at each, to evaluate the balance between the number of edits reverted and the number of false positives. Let me know if you have any questions :)
