Historical Context of Wikimedia CH
Wikimedia CH in early months of 2024 approved my stub for the Wikimedia CH's Information Technology Strategy, designed to be deeply connected to the support of communities in a safe and ethical space and without vendor lock-in. The challenge is to deliver Open Source tools that can be used by the organization WMCH and by the communities to better collaborate together in this new welcoming safe space, well-integrated.

Proposed Requirements → Proposed Implementations → Proposed Partners
To take concrete actions, the staff and the board of WMCH needs a creative space to make decisions and write down some possible requirements to fit existing and future workflows under this new Tech Strategy document.
So, I tried to proactively propose some feasible requirements. And, I proposed an early implementation, and, I proposed an early adoption of partners to be able to touch these implementations, to give enough margin of actionable creativity to staff and board of WMCH.

Timeline
- April 2024: WMCH installs their own local Nextcloud to try it out
- June 2024: WMCH installs their own Discourse to try it out
- August 2024:
- August 2024: evaluation of possible partners that could allow WMCH fast prototyping with a lot of tools
- September 2024: evaluation of the partner Cloud68 for BigBlueButton, Nextcloud, Discourse
- October 2024: exploration of the partner CH Open for just BigBlueButton
- November 2024, 22nd: enabled Collabora Office \o/
- November 2024, 22nd: still working on Keycloak, and fix Nextcloud email notifications, working on Meta-wiki OAuth
