This work is paused in Q2 with an aim to reopen in Q3.
In the meantime, I will be outputting the following metrics on a monthly basis to these campaigns metrics sheets:

  • Number of distinct new events created in month
  • Number of distinct participants registered in month
  • Number distinct participants registered in period who created an account in the last 30 days
  • Number of distinct organizers organizing events created in month
  • Number of distinct organizers who use Invitation Lists in month
  • Number of Invitation Lists generated in month, by wiki.

@ifried After digging into the workload and requirements for this, I am declining this request. I would like to connect with you on how we can work with Campaigns in the future to set up data tracking/workflows that make it more feasible to set up dashboards.

For the time being, Irene will continue to provide the monthly updates.

Some notes:

  • In the past year, we have learned that it can take months for Product Analytics team members to set up data pipelines.
  • The data pipelines we set up have become a recurring maintenance burden, with some pipelines breaking due to upstream changes.
  • Irene noted that the overhead for outputting the metrics on a monthly basis has been pretty low.

@kzimmerman, apologies for the late reply - I am catching up on emails after the Core Experiences offsite! Thank you for this update. I understand why this work was declined, but I look forward to seeing what/if could be possible in the future, so we can more quick & regular data insights. For the time being, we'll continue to use Irene's monthly reports. Thanks!
