CommunityUpdates currently instrumented through the Metrics Platform client do not include any experiment variant information in their payloads. The goal of the task is to add the variant information to those events. Ideally using the experiments schema already included as a fragment in the core web base schema (1.3.0).

Since there's no experiment running in beta wikis the variant field in the events is expected to always have a "control" value. cc @Etonkovidova
