If a user watchlists a page for a time-limited period, the system should notify them when that page is removed from their watchlist.
This should probably be an optional setting in user preferences.
It would benefit users who have an interest in a page, and underestimated the length of time during which they wish to receive news of updates to it. It would remind them of the opportunity to extend the duration of watching.

@Pigsonthewing: Thanks for reporting this. For future reference, please use the feature request form (linked from the top of the task creation page) to create feature requests, and fill in all the sections in the template. Thanks.
From Phabricator's home page, I selected "Tasks & Bugs", "create task", then "Request a Software Feature". The suggested headings (if that is what you mean by "template") did not suit my needs. The prompt to "list the steps that you performed to discover that problem" was irrelevant.
