Temp accounts Grafana Dashboard: Number of local CU checks run per-wiki
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

  • What: Plot number of local CU checks performed on wikis
  • Why:
    • Monitoring this metric over time lets us understand if there is an uptick in demands made of CUs on the project
    • An increase in this number post temporary accounts deployment can indicate increased burden on CUs. This metric can help us understand the extent of the situation.

The number of CU checks performed per-wiki is not necessarily public. It is public on wikis such as the English Wikipedia, but only because the Arbitration Committee publishes the number of checks performed by each CU. The database table that this comes from is not publicly accessible, and we might need to discuss with WMF-Legal as to whether we can make the number of checks performed per wiki public for all wikis.

@Niharika given this, I'd propose we decline this task and track this metric in Superset only (cc @jwang).

Makes sense. I'll discuss this one with @jwang.
