From what I read, the NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) is one of popular screen readers on Windows to this point. I'm creating this task to see whether support for NVDA can be made.

@gh87: Compatibility of what exactly? MediaWiki? Some MediaWiki extensions? A Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons app? Something else?
@Aklapper Let's start with most popular Wikipedia website before other Wikimedia projects.
This task feels extremely broad and not very actionable. Which criteria to fulfil to ever call it "resolved"? How would NVDA be "incompatible"?
MediaWiki tries to support Accessibility though there will always be things to fix or improve; see the open issues under Accessibility.
Is anything special about NVDA not covered by Accessibility?
Agreed. Additionally, these sibling tasks all seem desktop related, yet they are connected to a parent that specifically focuses on accessibility of the Android App... that's also really strange.
We roughly know the accessibility of our websites, we also know it changes every 2 months (moving target) and that all the screenreaders behave differently because standards aren't really standards. There isn't more to learn here, unless we hire a couple dozen people to full-time work on this, which isn't going to happen. Specific problems that people report or discover while testing themselves, can be reported as separate tickets.
