I'm not able to completely reproduce the setup. I have re-tested this in FF11 on Win7 rather than on Win XP.
I have not found any problem. Given that this is an older bugreport, several significant improvements/rewrites have happened to improve browser compatibility, and that I'm not able to reproduce the issue on a similar setup, I'm currently considering this one fixed.
