[MI 1.4] Curate a prioritized backlog of improvements to metric reporting and/or visualization processes

Description

Project #1 - “Identify key stakeholders and Explore potential improvements to the current metrics reporting process and visualizations”
  • Identify individuals/teams at the Foundation that engage with high-level metrics and those who would like more opportunities to use it more often in their work (Example - Leadership, language-inclusion-focus team, movement-communications team etc. ). Listen to what they really care about.
    • Understand the problem and your audience, what their questions are - “Solutions do not have value, the problems do. Only the right solution provides value”.
  • Form a focus group, or do a retrospective to
    • Discuss accessibility of high-level metrics (Slack updates, commons uploads, Superset etc.)
    • Understand what's been working well and what can be improved.
  • Curate a backlog of improvements to consider for prioritization

  • do you like how we report our metrics every month? Is there anything you would like to see in the Slack message that I put out or in the Movement metrics slide? asked another way, is there something that you aren't able to see or understand in the current format of the monthly metrics reporting?
