In T371996, we introduced a way to create and store ephemeral/temporary annotations within the visual editor document.
Doing the above has, among other things T371996 names, enabled us to start building the Paste Check user experience.
This task involves recording a brief walkthrough (~3 minutes) to introduce this new capability.
Requirements
Record a demo (~3 minutes) showing the new capability T371996 introduced to store ephemeral/temporary annotations within the visual editor document.
Audience(s)
- WMF Staff and volunteers curious to know about how Edit Check/Paste Check is progressing and with it, what kinds of new programming possibilities the Editing Team is introducing
Requirements
The demo should address the following questions:
- What part(s) of the Paste Check UX depended on this capability? Asked another way: why did we need to build this now?
- What is the capability? How does the capability work?
- Beyond Paste Check, what kinds of features/experiences/ideas does this capability unlock?
