Requested at https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Support&oldid=12742253#I_am_writing_in_the_Incubator_for_likpakpaanl_and_I_want_to_localize_the_software._The_language_code_is_xon.

Autonym according to Ethnologue: likpakpaanl.

  • Add to language-data (patch)
    • Run src/util/ulsdata2json.php before adding (patch)
    • Run src/util/ulsdata2json.php after adding
  • Add to translatewiki configuration (patch)
    • Add assistant languages to mw-config/FallbackSettings.php (if needed)
  • Deploy configuration to translatewiki
  • Add an entry to LocalNames/LocalNamesEn.php in the CLDR extension (patch)
  • Add jquery.ime keyboard (patch)
    • Add keyboard documentation
  • Update jquery.uls and jquery.ime in the ULS extension
  • Deploy ULS to translatewiki
  • Create the translatewiki language portal
  • Make sure that the category for the language is not marked as disabled
  • Update the translatewiki language portal to indicate that the language is enabled
  • Add the requester (and possibly other relevant users) to the translators list on the portal
  • Enter the autonym in the Wikimedia Portals project
  • Test language search in UniversalLanguageSelector and fix the search index (to test: Konkomba)
