How does the Edit Check sidebar (desktop) behave in various skin configurations?

Description

Open questions

  • 1. The size difference. V22's sidebar is about 200px with padding. Currently the EC sidebar is 300px What happens the V22 user has the sidebar hidden initially?
  • 2. Below 1120px, V22 hides all the sidebars and goes full width. What happens in other desktop skins (mainly V2010 which is still default on a number of wikis)?
  • 3. Do we want the toolbar to expand to cover the sidebar, or not?
  • 4. What events cause the sidebar appear?
    • E.g. Is the sidebar always visible? Is the sidebar shown when a Check (e..g Paste Check) is activated? Something else?
  • 5. What events cause the sidebar to disappear?
  • 6. Where within the skin will the sidebar appear?

  • Skins
    • Vector 2022
  • Screen widths
    • TBD breakpoints
  • Pinned menus
    • "Main menu"
    • "Tools" menu (hidden for now via T379443)
