Fundraiseup donations imported without attribution
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The fundraiseup campaign used the wmf_* syntax for the attribution parameters but didn't have this fields specified as custom fields in the campaign in fundraiseup.

We can use searchkit to identify the donation using the transaction ID and update the contribution tracking rows with the tracking parameters.

Ah, shoot. Thanks Damilare. I've added them for the Portal campaign we're hoping to run next week.

Thank you @Damilare ! I wasn't aware we had to add this in the FundraiseUp Campaign.

For the Email Campaign they look like this now:

Was that you perhaps? If so, thanks again!

No worries @ppenloglou, yes I added those today for any other donation that comes in through the campaign.

Yeah it's my fault @ppenloglou. Last time we did FRU we were still using utm_ parameters for tracking, which they handle automatically. I forgot we would need to add wmf_ ones.

This is to confirm that attribution for Fundraiseup transactions from 21st of November till date using the wmf_* fields have now been updated in Civi.
