Set your screen to <1120px so the sidebars are hidden
Observe the spacing in the personal tools:
Open notifications, observe the width of the notification icons change and icons to left move right:

Should the subtype of this task be adjusted to "Bug Report"?

This is a duplicate of T343838 (which has a proposed solution). When clicked the Codex icon changes to an OOUI icon and it's very difficult to keep these styles in sync.
