We will update the docker image as soon as the 1.43 release is publicly announced via the mediawiki-announce Mailing list. As far as I can tell it has been tagged just two days ago.

Noting for the sake of this Phabricator task that - unless I've misunderstood something - the addition of MW 1.43 to docker-library/official-images is currently being tracked in https://github.com/docker-library/official-images/pull/18170

Looking at https://hub.docker.com/_/mediawiki, I believe that MW1.43 has now been added; please reopen the task if this is incorrect :)
