Description

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://www.wikifunctions.org/view/en/Z801 (or any function where a Wikidata selector appears)
2. In the "Try this function" box, where it says "Select a type", type & select Wikidata lexeme
3. In the "Select Wikidata lexeme" box, type "umbrella" and then select umbrella; English, noun in the drop-down
4. With the cursor still in the "Select Wikidata lexeme" box, backspace 4 times so just "umbr" shows, and multiple choices appear in the drop-down
5. Once again, click on umbrella; English, noun

Observed behavior:

• After clicking, the selector box still shows just "umbr"

Expected behavior (Acceptance criteria):

• The selector box should immediately be updated to show "umbrella"
