Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  1. Start vanilla AutoWikiBrowser 6.3.1.1
  2. Connect to uk.wikipedia.org
  3. Add Джміль to the list of articles to be processed
  4. Check "Apply general fixes" is Off
  5. Turn on "Regex typo fixing"
  6. Check "Skip if no typo fixed" is Off
  7. On the skip tab, turn off "Only genfixes"
  8. Press Ctrl+R 5-6 times
  9. Click Start in Start

What happens?:

Article is skipped without any message.

What should have happened instead?:

Edit box or Error message.

Software version: AutoWikiBrowser 6.3.1.1

For me, first time loading that page I get a pop-up with message regarding Unicode character in private use area. The page is then added to the Skipped section of the Logs tab with reason "Page has character in Unicode Private Use Area". So AWB is behaving as expected for me, I can't replicate your "no logs" issue.

Sorry, scenario is more complicated:

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  1. Turn on "Regex typo fixing"
  2. Press Ctrl+R 5-6 times
  3. Click Start in Start

In this scenario AWB logs messages about skipping page in "Skipped" subwindow of "Logs" pane.

There is no pop-up message after 5-6 Ctrl+R.

It seems it's just a question of times to press Ctrl+R to to suppress message in Logs.
